2008.09.13 (Sat) - Hotel room: $87, Tickets: $100, 4 Corn dogs, 4 water bottles, 4 sodas, and some ice-cream: $1,327. Getting a good photo of the day: Priceless!
Heh, the caption was Robin's idea. The four of us had a blast, drove up last night and stayed at the Days again. Up at 5AM, stopped for breakfast at Denney's, then off to Stead field to grab our tickets and seats.
The static displays were cool, the races were great, the Thunderbirds were awesome (as usual), and the civilian aerobatics were amazing. It will take me a while to pick out and post the best of the day for a new gallery but check back later and I'll put a link to the gallery when I have them out there.
Before we took off we met up with Tom, Virginia, and Melody who were working Search & Rescue for the event. We got to hang out for a little while before we took off for home.
