RandD > 2009.03.09 (Mon) - Drive-by Daisy Got up this morning and half the house had no power, checked the breakers and none were tripped. It's an old house so I figured it was a wiring problem but managed to get to work early albeit wrinkled. Wrapped up the last of the module specs that were supposed to be done Friday even before anyone else got in. Had a brief meeting before taking 1/2 day off to go home and deal with our electrical problems. Robin got home right after me so I hoped that I would get a quick fix and play "hookie" with her the rest of the day. I figured that I had isolated the problem to a bad outlet, ran to home depot and picked up a new GFCI outlet and cover, got home and put it in but still no power to the dining room and garage. Did my best at troubleshooting the issue but was left baffled after a couple of hours so I called a professional. Andy came out and tracked the problem to a bad neutral wire in the main bathroom. $85 and an another hour later and we were back in business. After our electrical adventure we took off to grab some things at Target and grab some clothes for Robin at a nearby clothing store. I always dislike standing around in womens clothes stores while Robin tries things on. I feel like the other women are wondering why I am hanging around, it's uncomfortable feeling like you are making someone else feel uncomfortable but we finally got her things and got out of there. Whew... On the way home we saw some flowers at the entrance to our subdivision, I stopped and grabbed a few shots. Looks like I have a new theme this week, out with the Neon, in with the spring flowers! Hope you all had a GREAT day, until tomorrow... Darron

RandD > 2009.01.07 (Wed) - Happy Birthday Robin! Getting ready to head off for work, Robin is not home yet but I have flowers and a card waiting for her. I won't have time for anything but Robin after work so I am posting my dp now. Sometimes, when the pot gets really big we buy lottery tickets in hopes of hitting it big but I was thinking about it this morning. The odds of a guy like me getting a woman like Robin are astronomical! I got so very lucky when I met her, I have already hit it bigger than I could ever have hoped for! I love you Robin, Happy Birthday... Until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.07.28 (Mon) - Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." I rode into work today, it felt good. It was nice and cool all the way in. The ride home was a bit warm but not too bad. We had Peyton for a while, I helped Robin cook dinner and Kayla arrived in time for dinner. We all hung out and enjoyed being together. I ran off to a my Monday night study. On the way home the sunset looked so beautiful and I parked, grabbed the tripod and ran to the top of a hilltop to grab this shot, I then returned to my family. They were watching the end of a dance movie and Peyton started dancing to the credits, it was a beautiful end to a beautiful evening. -Darron
RandD > 2009.02.26 (Thu) - Peyton tends to the new Tulips Up early, saw Brandon off this morning and then headed to work. Work went well, took off for lunch with Bobby at Sunny Lees... Returned to finish the day and then took off straight for Kayla's. It is a new Thursday tradition for me to drive up and get my hugs and kisses since R & B are out late on Thursdays. Grabbed this shot of Peyton tending to the new Tulips that Chris planted to cheer up Kayla. Now for dinner with my girls. Until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2009.02.25 (Wed) - Lunch Break Got in to work early, had a good day. Heard briefly from an good friend, took off for lunch and grabbed some Mexican food on my way to the old "Fair Oaks Bridge" to see if I could grab my daily photo. I grabbed several shots, this was the best of the group. Wrappted up my day on time, headed home to hang out with my sweetie. Hope you all had a good day, until tomorrow... Darron
