RandD > 2009.04.03 (Fri) - Okay, I might be in trouble... Had a good day at work, came home to a full house. Took everyone out to dinner, then went birthday shopping for Peyton. Big 2 years old tomorrow. Back home now, we've got a full house so I've got to run. When Robin see's the photo I picked for my daily she might be a bit upset but it was the best photo from today, and I think it is a nice butt! :) Hope you all had a nice day, until tomorrow... Darron
RandD > 2008.10.12 (Sun) - It was a very nice day, I dropped Brandon off at church about 7AM and then went back home to wake Robin up. I surprised her with a pancake breakfast. We decided to skip church and run off with the camera since the morning light looked so nice. We stopped at Fair Oaks park and grabbed several shots, I liked this one the best. Later we stopped at Starbucks, then ran to Home Depot to grab some small home project materials. We picked up Brandon later, then stopped and picked up Briana and ran back to the house. Robin and the kids ran off to do the grocery shopping and I stayed home. I warmed up some soup for lunch and ended up burning myself. The bowl was way to hot and I dropped it on my arm. Brandon is working on his culinary midterm right now, he has to cook dinner for the family! Mmmm, smells good. Hope you all had a nice weekend... Until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.09.10 (Wed) - Another long day at work. After work was nice, Robin was home so we hung out together in front of the television. Jen hung out with us for a while before she had to take off. Picked up B & Bri from youth around 9PM and now ready to turn in for the night. Until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.07.01 (Tue) - Biked in to work today, it was nice. At work I had to re-work a process flow and some use cases, still more to do but should be done by Thursday. I am looking forward to the holiday and the three day weekend. The ride home was hot, I worked up a sweat but it felt good. Robin had cooked a wonderful whole wheat lasagna, it was great. After dinner Robin and I picked up Doreen and we ran off for a couple hours to meet up with our friends. When we pulled up I noticed some cattails growing near a small pond so I grabbed this shot before the meeting. Afterwards we dropped Doreen off at her place and returned to post the photo and get to bed. Sorry the photos is not the best, but it was all I had. I need to get out of my photo funk. RandD > 2008.06.19 (Thu) - Robin and I got busy getting prepared for her family reunion. The reunion is going to be at Lake Almanor so we had to get all our stuff down and clean it all up. We took a break just before noon and ran to a very dear friends house for lunch. Bobby fixed us chicken curry, rice, some veggies, and then rice kheer. It was great. We had a nice visit, Bobby showed us some photos from his recent family trip to Disney World. They spent 6 days and got some great photos while they were there. After lunch we headed home to continue packing. We stopped so I could shoot some flowers and then it was back home to finish packing. When we were done, we ate dinner and then ran out with the camera to find a car show in Folsom. We thought there was a small car show at the Red Robin but we were wrong. We drove around a bit and then ended up back in Roseville where we found a small car show at Mels again. We grabbed some more car shots and then went in to enjoy a carmel sunday and milk shake. It reminded me of when we were first dating 22 years ago! Then we decided to go home but I did grab this shot of Mels on the way out. Robin sits patiently out front as I composed my shot. I may not be able to post my photos for the next few days but as soon as I have internet access I will get my daily gallery caught up with highlight from our reunion. Have a great weekend! -Darron
RandD > 2009.01.24 (Sat) - Rio City Sunset Got up and ran 5K again, 6th run this year and down about ten pound so far. Got back and we had a text from Kayla that Chis hit a cow on the way home from work around 3AM. We all packed up and headed to see how he was doing. The car is a bit bang'd up but Chris is okay. We hung out, Robin cooked us all breakfast and we played with Peyton and recharged our granparent batteries! Returned home for the afternoon, watched Handcock and then R and I took off to Sacramento for dinner. We ate on the river and what a view of the sunset! I grabbed a couple shots during dinner and then after dinner we walked along the river with the tripod and grabbed a few shots of the tower bridge. Until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.08.30 (Sat) - Robin worked today, I spent the day doing some work around the house. I did the dishes, worked out back, pulled weeds, trimmed, mowed, swept, and worked on the pool for a bit. Afterwards, I changed into my swim suit and went swimming for a bit, then relaxed in the sun for a while. Later, Brandon had his friend Richard come over. He is a fellow computer geek, B, Richard, and I spend a few hours setting up Brandon's site to support PHP and then got a database set up for them. I am still having trouble getting the SMTP server to work though our firewall but we'll get that working soon. After we were done messing around on the computer, I took off to grab some groceries and dinner. I got home about the same time Robin did and helped dish up dinner. After dinner Robin and I sat out back and talked and then I realized that I hadn't taken a photo today. I grabbed the camera and the micro lens and grabbed this shot after I pulled the car in for the night. Until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.05.28 (Wed) - I had a nice day today. The ride into work was a bit cool and windy with a head wind the whole way. My work day was productive, the ride home was nice, I had a tail wind all the way! I left work late and so arrived home later than usual. I helped Robin set up for a nice dinner out back, she had cooked a wonderful meal, before eating I silently gave thanks for some answered prayers. (The point has become clearer) I ran off after for a couple hours after dinner and returned feeling a bit blue. Then I learned that Peyton had taken her first steps while they were out car shopping. We got Robin out of bed and all cheered Peyton on while she showed off her new skill. What a nice end to my day. After all the excitement, Kayla was putting Peyton down for the night and I grabbed this shot of one of the Magic Shoes! God bless you until tomorrow, Darron
RandD > 2008.05.08 (Thu) - It was a good day, work was productive. At noon we had a small team lunch at Quizno's. I got hassled for eating my meal too quickly, Truth is they were all just slow eaters. I'll try and pace myself next time. After lunch we headed back to our meeting and we wrapped up a few minutes early. (I love it when that happens!) Brandon was watching Peyton when I got home with his dinner. They got his order wrong so he didn't get a full meal but he'll survive. I took over watching Peyton, she had been fussing a bit before I arrived. I took her out back to take some photos and she had good fun. After shooting this photo, I let her splash her feet in the pool until her Mom arrived to pick her up. Kayla and I shared about our days for a bit, Kayla caught me up on what is going on with the house they are buying and then she had to take off with Peyton. Brandon took off with Briana and I am left all alone until Robin gets off work late tonight. I haven't seen Jennifer for a while, I miss you Jen and hope things are well. Your father LOVES you! Swing by soon when you have time to chat and maybe I could get a good shot of you to post as my photo of the day.
