RandD > 2008.10.05 (Sun) - Woke this morning, ate breakfast and then met up with Tom, Virginia, and Melody. We spent some time chatting before we had to head home. I got tagged to be the driver again, big surprise. We arrived in Roseville, dropped Melody off at her place and then stopped at our place to unpack. We ran over to my parents to visit, my Mom was home and we hung out with her for a bit before she had to take off to pick up Dad.

We ran to the hardware store and purchased a new fawcet for the kitchen sink, the old one broke Friday before we headed out of town. I replaced the fawcet while Robin and the kids went grocery shopping.

After our chores were done we watched some TV and Brandon cooked up dinner! Dinner was great, he is really learning a lot in his culinary techniques class.

Bri had "Haily" for the weekend. Haily is a smart doll that is programmed to give teens an idea what having a real baby is like. Keeping her for the weekend was part of her childhood development class homework. It had to be fed, changed, and cared for all weekend long. "She" would wake up in the middle of the evening just like a real one and required care to be put back to sleep. What a joy that was! Heh

I grabbed this shot of Fluffy relaxing, Robin took Bri and Haily home while I got online and posted my daily photos for the last three days. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Until tomorrow,

RandD > 2008.09.22 (Mon) - Up and ready for work, it should be a busy day so I decided to post another shot from yesterday.

RandD > 2008.09.28 (Sun) Another nice day, we went to Jen's church today to see her graduation ceremony. Today Jen graduated from her 6 month discipleship with the "Go Girls" ministries. After the service we all went out for lunch, after lunch Robin and I met Crystal and George and did a engagement photo shoot. Too busy to get any of the photos processed tonight.

I randomly picked this photo from back in May, hope you all had a nice weekend.

RandD > 2008.09.01 (Mon) - Nice lazy day, Robin had to work so I decided to go out early and look for a daily. Ended up driving toward Folsom and as I crossed the Lake Natomas Crossing I thought I would go for a walk under the bridge to see how it looked in the mornging light. I shot quite a few photos but liked this one the best.

After this shot I stopped by Raleys to see Robin, grabbed some coffee and then took off for home. Peyton arrived around 4:00pm, Robin should be home soon. (Yea) We plan on doing dinner with B, Bri, Peyton, and Kayla. Back to work tomorrow, at least it is a 4 day work week.

Take care all, until tomorrow,

Darron
RandD > 2008.07.26 (Sat) - Robin and I got up early so we could drive out to Rancho Seco to look for a daily photo. Well, it was a long drive but we did get some good shots. I had left the camera on ISO 1600 so the photos weren't the best quality. Oh well, I really liked this one.

After we got home we picked up Briana, ran out to see Kayla, Chris, and Peyton. We hung out for a while and then dropped B & Bri off at Sunsplash so they could go mini golfing. Picked 'em up, went back to watch the Beavers for a while and returned home so Brandon could oook the romantic dinner he had been planning for Bri.

It was a nice day.

Here are more photos from the morning, and from the evening.

RandD > 2009.01.01 (Thu) - It's a new year, Robin worked all night and had to sleep for a few hours so I went for an 11 mile bike ride. I rode to the top of Sierra College Blvd and suvived to write about it. Heh.

I cooked dinner for Robin, she got up just in time to eat, after I did the dishes I decided we would go do something different. For some reason Stockton got stuck in my head and I googled it to see what sights there were. I didn't tell Robin where we were going and that she couldn't ask questions. We arrived at the University of Pacific in Stockton and wandered the campus with our camera and floodlight.

We took some pretty cool shots but I liked this on of Burns tower the best.

Until tomorrow,

RandD > 2008.11.06 (Thu) - Still feeling un-inspired. Got the blues. Work was okay, met the new PM today. Went to lunch with Bobby. Got home late, Robin slept until 9pM, left for work at 10PM. I grabbed this quick shot and now headed off to bed.

Hope your day was good.

RandD > 2008.10.17 (Fri)- Another good day, worked half a day so I could take the second half of the day off for Kayla's B-day. Today Kayla turned 21, she has grown into the most wonderful woman. She is a great mother, wife, daughter, grand-daughter, and sister. We are so proud of her.

Kayla and Chris are leaving for five days, starting out in Reno and then driving to Las Vegas for four days. I grabbed this shot of her and Chris in the front yard before they left.

We have Peyton while they are gone, Kayla called to check on her baby but Peytee had already gone to sleep. Kayla ordered her first Long Island Iced tea, she didn't like it.

Brandon took off with his guy friends, Bri hung with us, we visited my parents, then rented some movies, "The Great Debaters" was AWESOME, very touching movie!

Robin crashed, I am ready to but must drive all the teenies home when their movie ends.

Until tomorrow,

RandD > 2008.08.11 (Mon) - Drove to work today, had a pretty good day except the part where I got my father's voice message from yesterday asking if we were still coming over for dinner. Robin and I totally forgot that we had all planned on getting together for dinner once we got back from our trip to Nevada!

Brandon was at a friends house to spend the night, I canceled my regular Monday night thing and Robin and I went over and had dinner with my folks after I got home from work. We stayed for a while and all watched old home video of the kids when they were all little. Brandon was still in diapers, they were all so cute!

After dinner, Robin and I took off on an spontaneous date night. We went and watched the Beavers swim around for a while and then decided to go in search of a good daily photo. I headed west on Douglas while Robin tried to guess where we were going.

We continued all the way to the Folsom Lake, it was very low and we drove out to what would have been the middle of the lake and parked for a while to shoot some photos including this one of my sweetie.

The mosquitoes started to bite and it was getting dark so we took off for home for a quiet evening alone.
