Work seemed to drag on today, seemed like forever before I was able to take off. The drive home was just as slow, arrived to a pleasant surprise, we still had Peyton! She stayed the night with her Mom, then her Dad came home from work and crashed here and left her with Robin when he took off for work. The kids sure are banking some overtime hours but I'm certainly not complaining.

Watched the news for a couple hours, Robin has another graveyard shift tonight, she is going to be a department head with full time hours and weekends off so I guess it's worth the odd unusual schedule for a while.

We ate dinner, played around with Peyton, and then watched some TV until Kayla arrived to take the grand baby home. After things died down I grabbed the camera & tripod and tried for another moon shot. I have an 80-400mm lens rental being delivered this Friday so maybe I can grab a better moon shot then!

Until tomorrow,

RandD > 2008.09.07 (Sun) - Had a nice day, took B & Bri to church, then went to breakfast and back home to hang out. I did the dishes and swept the pool while the kids watched a movie. Before Robin got home I got caught up on the daily photos and read all your comments on yesterday's photo. Thanks so much for all the comments. Robin got home after her graveyard shift and we went shopping, cooked dinner, and went for a walk.

Robin went to bed early, I just sat down to pick my best photo for today's daily pic.

Hope you all had a great weekend, until tomorrow,

RandD > 2008.08.28 (Thu) - I decided to come in to work a bit later today, I want to keep the same hours as the other two developers while we are working together on the database design. We made some good progress on the design work, later in the day we got some good news about the project so we walked over to Starbucks to take a short break and talk more about it.

Got home and Kayla had arrived to pick up Peyton. B & Bri watched her until I got home. I took Peyton out back to grab some photos, she looked so pretty in her yellow dress. I spent some time dodging and burning, then some more time adjusting the exposure and color in the background.

Well, Robin is home and we haven't had much time together the last couple days so I am going to run...

Until tomorrow,

RandD > 2008.08.25 (Mon) - Typical Monday. Robin is back to work this week, starting with a graveyard. She was sleeping when I got home, I tried not to wake her but... Well, we watched the rest of the movie we started the other day, then took off for a drive together.

We headed west from our home and stopped to grab this shot. Here are some more from tonight.

Until tomorrow,

RandD > 2008.07.28 (Mon) - Psalm 19:1 "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands."

I rode into work today, it felt good. It was nice and cool all the way in. The ride home was a bit warm but not too bad. We had Peyton for a while, I helped Robin cook dinner and Kayla arrived in time for dinner. We all hung out and enjoyed being together. I ran off to a my Monday night study.

On the way home the sunset looked so beautiful and I parked, grabbed the tripod and ran to the top of a hilltop to grab this shot, I then returned to my family. They were watching the end of a dance movie and Peyton started dancing to the credits, it was a beautiful end to a beautiful evening.
