2009.03.06 (Sat) - 22 Year Anniversary
Robin and I were up at 4:30AM, we ate breakfast and headed out to Lake Natomas for our morning adventure. Got out on the water around 6:15AM, it was sooooo beautiful out there. I got the hang of the boat pretty quickly and we were on our way. We started up the late, under Lake Natomas Crossing. We spent our morning hangin out, taking photos and enjoying the scenery. We traveled as far down as Willow Creek, there was so much wildlife, mostly birds. We saw many species of duck and other water fowl, and even some red tailed hawks.
We were off the lake by about 9:30 and went home to grab a late morning snack before taking a short nap so we could stay out later.
Got up and hung out for a few hours and then we got ready for Dinner at Mulvaneys B&L downtown. We dressed up, it's always fun to get dressed up to go out for me. Robin looked beautiful, and I looked pretty sharp myself but mostly because she was by my side. Dinner was great, Robin had the Scallops, I went with the Rib Eye.
After dinner we parked a parking garage right across from the IMAX Esquire theater on K street. We went to the top where I grabbed this shot for my daily. Later we walked up K street a bit but Robin was getting cold so we headed back to the car.
It was a very pleasant anniversary. Hope yours was as nice...
