RandD > 2008.08.23 (Sat) - Lazy day, slept in, watched some TV and read for a bit. Got caught up on the dailies. Wow, there are so many talented photogaphers in this community! Anyone know where I can find the tutorial for making the "small worlds"? Took a nap, then Bri came over. Ran B and Bri to the movies, then later we dropped them off at Strikes so they could go bowling. On the way back the sun was going down and we decided to go shoot the new Justice Center in Roseville. RandD > 2008.07.31 (Thu) - Good day at work, more design documents to work on... Sometimes I think we'll never get to write code! Went to lunch with Bobby, took a short Starbucks Coffee break with Rob toward the end of the work day. I got home and it was just Robin and I so we grabbed the camera and took off to check out the beaver tree. The tree was down but not by the beavers, looks like the city decided it was becoming unsafe so they finished the job with a chain saw. We drove out to old Sacramento where we ate dinner at the Rio City Cafe. We ate out on the patio over looking the river, it was nice. After dinner we walked down to see an old replica of the Nina that had sailed here from Brazil. After that we wandered around, shot some photos, grabbed some ice cream and returned home just before Brandon. While wandering Front street I saw our flag, it was backlit with the sun showing though and I thought it looked really nice so I grabbed this shot. Here are the rest of todays photos.
